[Zgemma H7] No CCcam plugin in my softcam

I just bought a new Zgemma H7S and i instal the Openvix image everything works perfect, i try send clines using Filezilla, and i dindt find the cccam.cfg file on the usual place, try to instal from softcam plugin but was no cccam plugin, download from your site and install but stil dont have the cccam.cfg file, what to do how i can sorted the this problem or is other way to send the clines to my box?

Making bootable backup image on usb stick

Two questions.

1. I know how to make a complete image backup on the internal hard disk, but I have forgotten how to put the image on a usb stick instead of on the box hard disk. Can someone help? Sorry for my ignorance/ forgetfulness.

2. One used to be able upgrade to the latest version of Openvix using Downloads via the Image Manager, but nothing now happens when I try to access Downloads via the yellow button. Has this changed

I am running Openvix 5.2.035.

Security systems that have APIs or support SNMP

I am new to the field of physical access control and security. My background is networks and network security and I am working for a start up that wants to set up a secure room. The idea is to have all the physical security hook in to the network management platform, so that alarms and events can be captured in the same space and there is 1 screen to look at for anyone who is monitoring. I have approached a few local (in the UK) security companies and all they could offer is systems that provided their own software or "cloud" platforms.

Upgrading CCTV what can I upgrade?

Hello all,

I'm wanting to upgrade my CCTV I currently have an 8 channel DVR (Adata) and 3 Varifocal Eyeball Dome, I'm ideally looking for better quality, do I need to upgrade the cameras or the DVR or both, the DVR does have an HDMI port on the back so I'm guessing it's capable of HD?

The cameras are all currently connected via the dual coax cable / power cable forgot the name for it.

Any info on the best approach would be greatly appreciated.

for my box I'm running Openvix 5.2.045, but there was a notice this is the
last in this image, use Image Manager and flash another Image, What ??
any advice appreciated..

[ET10x00] Bootable image/ Upgrading Image

Two stupid questions. Sorry if these are obvious and thanks to everyone who have made Openvix so good.

1. I can make a copy of my working image on my hard disk without problems, but I have forgotten how to make the copy on a bootable usb stick. Could someone help.

2. Upgrading the firmware. I used to be able to access the latest image versions from the Image Management section, but now if I press yellow nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Have the upgrade instructions changed?

Hallo,ich habe eine solo 4k nach langer zeit mit dem Vti Image wollte ich mal ein anderes Image ausprobieren und kam so auf ein tolles Vix Image aber leider schaue ich abends zum einschlafen Fernsehen und stellte fest das es kein Ausschalt Timer gibt. Wo man eine zeit einstellen kann das er aus geht oder muss ich noch etwas installieren.

[VU+ Duo4K] Bluetooth remote connect/disconnnect pop-up message

Guys any way to turn off imo this annoying popup that lasts 5 seconds when Bluetooth remote disconnects and reconnects,

I understand it is battery saving to disconnect bt and that is fine, but I dont need to be notified every time i pick up the remote..any ideas

If its a code change, I could rustle up something if I knew where to view

[ABM-MISC] ABM using FBC tuners and normal twin Sat tuner

Hello all

I’ve just done a fresh install of VIX 5.2.045 with no backups, all installed from fresh.

My setup is as follows, Vu+ Ultimo 4K with cable FBC tuners configured and sat FBC tuners configured to 28 Astra. I also have a twin sat tuner with tuner Q configured to USALS, tuner R not configured.

Before I did the fresh install, this configuration using ABM CustomMix importer VM into Sky UK worked fine. Also Vhannibals Autosetting Plugin installed but set to manual update. As I said, this all worked fine, no problems.

Same setup with the fresh install but when I run ABM it fails reading Sky UK at 42% 3/7 and shows a message saying cannot read data and something to do with tuner Q not being properly configured.

If I disable tuner Q and run ABM it picks up all the channels, albeit the screen goes blank, this never used to happen, the picture would stay on.

It’s as if it hasn’t got multiple tuners.

Anyone any ideas as to what the problem is?

I was wondering if any of you knew of any cctv or intruder detection systems that have APIs, so that they can be integrated with 3rd party monitoring systems. Barring APIs, if they can support network monitoring protocols such as SNMP.

Interference Problem

Hello, I'd like to see if you guys could help me with an issue I got with my aunt's cctv system. I'm running cables through a 1/2' pvc pipe, mind this is cat5e cable.

They are really tight together on the pvc pipe, could that be cause for a major interference on image?

I can see colored stripes all around the image, the stripes are not very intrusive, but it's still there.

I just want to know if that interference could be caused by the tight cables in the pvc pipes.

Also, I'm using screw baluns, 12v to 13.8v 4 channel 5 amp power supply.

Network shares

I hope this is in the correct forum, but if not please delete, and I'll post in the ViX support forum.

I have a Mutant HD51 and mounted my network shares from a NAS box. I am using samba for cifs shares and the relevant folders are mounted and activated.
Is it possible to view the actual media on the mounted shares, and how please.

Help with changing system?

So, I've been working as LP for a store for a while now and I've been trying fix up all out broken cameras and now I've been trying to optimize our DVRs. We have 5 total: 3 Intellex LTs (which is fine), 1 American Dynamics Intellex DVMS (still ok), and an ADTVR (This ones a pain).

For reference, the way we have it set up, theres 1 monitor that displays each all 16 cameras that every DVR is hooked up to. We also have 2 call monitors to bring up the cameras individually on a larger screen.

My most pressing issue is seeing if there are any sub 1k systems I can replace the ADTVR with that have the functionality of the others. The others allow us pick specific times and dates to pinpoint what were trying to look for, whereas the ADTVR can only be guesstimated within an hour and a half and you have to view through the rest to get where you want to go AND theres no real backwards replay option as it just goes 30 sec back. It's a pain and I want to get a new, but cant be $4k like in seeing these LTs selling for.

Also side question, is there a database or information center where I can try to read through to figure out what's wrong with some of my cameras. I've got a myriad of issues that I guess have been issues for quite a while since before I got this job. I've been able to fix most things, but I've got plenty of other I havent been able to figure out yet.

Best games with controller (XB1/PS4) support?

Now that iOS 13's beta supports controllers (couldn't do it with the first couple; now with Public Beta 5 it works), what games support controllers?

Not really looking for app/game recommendations per se... I don't like a lot of "popular" games. My first stop was Subway Surfers... of course that doesn't work. I'd be freakin' unstoppable if I could use a controller! Then I tried Oceanhorn and that works.

I have a feeling PUBG (PlayerUnknown's Battleground to those who didn't know... for the longest time, I didn't!) and Fortnite work, but I don't play those games. I play more traditional games on the PC/Xbox, but on the phone I mostly play Subway Surfers. But if controllers are gonna be a thing now, I might broaden my horizons a bit. But, don't worry about what I like... mainly just looking to hear what games work with a controller now.

[Zgemma H9S] Flashing

H'i folks,

I'm trying to change the image to openvix from openATV in my zgemma h9s, After downloading the latest openvix image and unzipping it to a 1GB usb stick, I put it into the usb port under the Ethernet port. I then held in the reset button switched on still holding in the reset button, and waited for it to flash, but it didn't. I tried this four times, to no avail. I checked out the usb stick and it appears to be alright. Any help would be grateful.

Picture vanished now I can't get a picture.

I was watching TV earlier on my OSMini when the screen went black and the No Signal message popped up on the screen.

I rebooted the box but although the box was booting the TV wasn't receiving a signal, I swapped the HDMI cable into various other HDMI sockets on the TV but still no signal, I tried a few other HDMI cables but still no signal.

The box is alive and kicking as I can stream the picture to my PC using VLC, it's just the HDMI output that's vanished. Using the Web Interface I tried changing the video settings from 1080p to 1080i, 720p, 720i, 576i etc.... but still no signal.

I did a factory reset - no signal.
I downloaded and installed the latest VIX firmware via USB - no signal.

I connected the box to my PC monitor - perfect picture, I connected it to the TV in my bedroom - perfect picture!

The box has been connected to my TV (Panasonic Viera) for about 3 years and I've never had any sort of signal issue, my TV supports every resolution imaginable so it's not as if the box is sending a signal my TV can't handle, also why would it decide to switch resolution while I'm watching Sky News?!

I've tested all the HDMI sockets on my TV with various games consoles and Bluray players, they all display fine, it's just my OS Mini that's decided to stop sending a signal to this one particular TV.

Very strange.

I also tried using the AV adaptor on the rear, no signal from that either.

Looking to buy a new box

Hi, I’m looking to buy a new box but need help. I currently have a spider box connected to 8 lnbs across Europe. They are connected through a diseqc 8-1 switch. I’m looking to upgrade to a 4K box so I can access canal + sport 4K on hot bird and 4K channels on 30 degrees west, hipasat. Which box is best for this as I have 3 c clines to enter. I need a pre set up box for me as I’m not very good at installing anything on it. I’m also looking at keeping the cost down.

[Mut@nt] HD51 Network shares problem

I have a Mutant HD51 and mounted my network shares from a FreeNAS box. I am using samba for cifs shares and the relevant folders are mounted and activated.

When I use Media Player to play or view the said files on a shared media folder, it says there are no files, but I know there is.
I have also tried Media Scanner , but again it says there are no files in any of my mounted and activated cifs shared folders.

I have also tried uPnP in kodi to view the media files, but it can only see the folders and not the files.

I use linux on all my pc's, and the shared folders and files are browsable on the pc's.

I have considered reflashing the box with the latest ViX image, if that would solve the problem. I did also wonder if it was something to do with the filesystem on the HD51.

[Rytec/RyVIX-ITALY XMLTV] What happened to the EPG on Supertennis (Hotbird)
