zegemma H9 twin sata hard drive issue

i have this box but im having a issue with a 2.5 sata drive in the box, as it says the drive is full and its not when recording im using openxix ver 5.3.010

it works fine if i connect via the USB so i know the drive itself is ok


any ideas

[ViX_Misc] Blue HD: Recordings list font size too large

Hi all just flashed the latest image and I am trying the blue HD skin at the moment however or I am finding is that the font size is too large so when I go into recordings for example I can only see half the word I can't figure out where I go to change the settings please help

Feels like I'm looking for some sort of the zoom option

I just flashed the latest image and I was using the plug-in EPG refresh previously but that does not appear to be in the plug-in section anymore can you please advise what I can use I am using this with cable

I was looking for an Edison Mio for Xmas. i buy from the UK where possible provided there is not that much difference in price. Never realised there was a plus model. Bit better and later model. Noting some were £45 cheaper from a supplier in Italy I checked it out. Unable to get an EAN number but on doing a Google search I discovered all the lower priced models were the older model. So easy to get confused and in some cases ripped off.

Wireless Network Issues

I have a 4G wireless router which I've been using on Solo 4K with VIX image for sometime until around July when it started failing after an update. Whenever I try to download a plugin, I get the long countdown message that I'm not connected. However all indications will always be green as well as I'm able to use IPTV without an issue. I've updated to the latest VIX but still the problem persists. Hotspot over the phone works correctly.

So I am being treated to a new receiver for Xmas but was pondering whether to go for the Edision OS Mio or add a bit of my money and go for the Plus model. I am unable to see that much difference but have always preferred the latest model. Yeah I know its a never ending marketing game.

I've been looking at this for a little while, but there are not too many reviews to read, so I'm still in the dark a bit.

So, sorry to ask questions but I can't find the answers myself.

Functionally, is there much difference between the UE version and this one? It is cheaper, so what is lacking?

Mostly it's the PVR function I want, to replace the Sly box I have now before I cancel it, I love the idea of recording more than one channel at a time.

I need twin tuner because I have aSly disc and a motorised 1.1 m disc for foreign channels. I've established I watch mostly freesat channels anyway, which is lucky considering the alternatives seem to be not working anymore!

Is it worth getting the T2 tuner?

I was really hoping for a Black friday deal on this! ******* have it cheaper, but I'd prefer to buy it from the UK! Still hoping...

Any other information you can think of would be appreciated.

stuck in a crash loop

hi folks, can anyone offer some guidance please.

My box has worked beautifully for 4 yrs and this morning lost all its channels.

When i turned it off and on again... it tries to load the OpenVix image but crashes showing the attached.

I have tried to reload an image from USB but it is ignoring it.

Tried with HDD out and in and it makes no difference.

HD51HD Extremely low memory?

Any idea on how to increase the memory of a Mutant HD51 HD running the latest Openvix?
I have the cacheflush plugin installed although it's not enabled, memory drops down to 1% remaining, cacheflush usually bring this back to 15% and a system reboot bring this back to around 20%. Anyone with the same problem? and is there a fix?

Sky Q plus Unicable plus Legacy

Hi all,

I was doing a new build and looking at the possibility of using Unicable for my TV distribution.
All TV points will have network and 2xCoaxial feeds wired back to a central point.
I also already have a couple of FreeSat TVs that are not Unicable compatible.

I was looking at Unicable LNBs with legacy ports like this one which is probably the way I will go.

However, I understand this LNB is not compatible with Sky Q.
It seems it is also possible that a Quattro LNB could feed a Unicable Multiswitch that would also have Sky Q and Legacy outputs.

I was looking at this Unicable switch from Inverto that offers "8x Sky dSCR / SatCR / Legacy + Terrestrial Outputs".

It is clear to me that this switch is compatible with Sky Q and Legacy tuners. However, will it work with a standard Unicable STB (e.g. an FBC tuner on Vu+/Gigablue)?
The spec references 16 "Sky UK (dSCR)" and 16 "EN50494/EN50607" User Bands.

Tuner B on 28.2E no longer recognised VU Duo Open Vix 5.3.011

A strange problem started today, my tuner B ( fixed to 28.2E is no longer recognised (tuner Error). I first thought it was the static sky dish maybe the problem, but then I realised my motorised dish on Tuner A was also not able to get a signal on this satellite. So it cannot be a dish issue, but either hardware or software-related.

I have done a re-flash with backup so the channel list has been replaced, holding back on a full re-install at this stage.

Has anyone had this issue or any suggestions that may resolve this problem.

Any help would be much appreciated

V U Duo 2
Fixed Sky Dish on 28.2E
Motorised 1m Dish
OpenViX 5.3.011 (2019-11-21)

Hola haber quien me puede ayudar llevo un tiempo que la imagen openvix hay 9 paquetes de actualización lo descargó y siempre me pide lo mismo que hay 9 paquetes de actualización y siempre igual como se puede eliminar esto gracias

Hi all

I'm upgrading from a Duo2 to Duo 4k using vix image and wanted to know if its possible to use a back up from my Duo2 to set up the duo 4k to save me starting from scratch? I assume that the back up will contain all my tuner settings and recording/timeshift settings etc?

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Hi all, sadly I've been ordered back to Sky by my lovely wife (got an 18 month contract that was a very good price)

So am going to sell my: Gigablue UHD UE 4K 2xDVB-S2X FBC (8 demodulators) ULTRA HD Linux Enigma 2 PVR Receiver

with Extra Tuner: Single DVB-S/S2/S2X

I have the manual (although it's not English) and the remote. I can't find the box anywhere, so will pack it securely in a different box.
