LCD mini screen.

Hi
I'm quite new in OpenVix so just starting using, and I have some question.
In my LCD screen, display is over scaled. And is comes out of the screen (see pic below).
How should I correct this?
I use Blue HD skin - try find some skin setting, but unsuccessful.
I just to be on OpenATV when it was no problem with any skin.

for some reason the time seems to be an hour behind, when i go to time in menu it is correct as london, europe. taking time from transponder

I still miss the old behavior of init 4

Hi,
I still miss the old behavior of init 4 which simply killed E2. I can do the same with kill -9 id-of-enigma2. killall enigma2 does not work I think. Is there a way to put this in a shell script? I can look with PS-A | grep enigma2 but how do I get the id extracted?

I want a script which looks like that:
init 4
kill enigma
init 3

GB UHD 4K EPG Anomaly

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but when pressing the 'PREV' button the EPG changes to a bouquet list in grid and multi EPG.
Pressing the 'NEXT' button acts as expected and scrolls through the bouquets.
This is on a fresh flash of ViX 5.3.033 with no settings or plugins restore and just scanned for Freesat and imported EPG.
I haven't changed any button designations but I am using a 3rd party remote.

I'm not complaining about it. I think it's a better feature than just scrolling through the bouquets one at a time and I would like to replicate it on my other boxes.
I can scroll through the bouquet list and just press 'OK' to go to that bouquet in the respective EPG.
It is the same in any skin.

tuner set up advise

current setup et8500 with 4 satellite tuners.
tuner A motorised
tuner b wave fronter
tuners c & d fixed 28.2e

with new gigablue receiver looking to get maximum recording options on 28.2e
& have use of motorised & wave fronter as previous setup

please advise what tuner/lnb setup is required.

Hi, hope you can help me with what should be a fairly simple minor problem;
In menu/setup/recording, playback & time shift/recording & playback, there are two setting to control what happens on playback.
Behaviour when stopped is set to 'return to movie list' which is great.
Behaviour when movie ends is set to 'pause'. I have repeatedly changed this to the same 'return to movie list' and saved (green button), but the next time a movie ends it still pauses and when I check the setting it has returned to the 'pause' option.
How do I get it to stay on my chosen 'return to movie list' setting.

The 3rd party JediMakerXtreme was removed from 5.3 033. From 5.3 034 it will be built from source files directly. Thanks to NickerSk and Tromoto/Delfi

For those wanting to install the ipk, please find attached the latest version as of 02/06/2020. You may need to uninstall the one that says 5.32 first. They are the same version though.

Kodi 18.7 - openvix 5.3.003 Image

Hi,

After I updated my SF8008, I noticed that Kodi was updated to version 18.7.
Unfortunately, Kodi crashed every time I try to play any video.
I deleted all the hidden Kodi's setting files and I also reimaged the decoder, but the issue still there.
Please let me know if there is any way to fix this issue.

Propriatary Tivusat Fuba box not scanning channel but E2 box does

Hi

I have a few family relations that have the Fuba ODE711 Tivusat satellite box that for some reason(s) does not scan
11179H 27500 3/4 transponder for FTA channel 'Canale Italia 83'.
When I place an E2 box in situ I can scan that frequency so it must be something to do with the box.

Checking Lyngsat there seems to be a recent transponder change:
200529: Canale Italia 83 started on Hotbird 13C: 11179 H

I'm wondering as to why I can't scan this in the box even though I have added scanned on all Transponders and even scanned the TP manually.
I appreciate that these boxes are limited in that there is no blind scan available but can anyone explain why they would not pick up those channels on that transponder?

I have tried the Fuba box at another location and it is the same situation.
As I have mentioned I can use a E2 box not a problem but the added dilemna is that I need a box with SCART socket as this particular person relays picture via RF to another TV in the house using both RF Modulator box and Powermid XL Remote Extender.

What are the options that I have :
1. Find out why and how to scan above frequency on Fuba box?
2. buy 2 E2 boxes and run the second one in Client mode upstairs?
3. seek an E2 box with scart sockets (very rare now proably unless sourced second hand)

Any ideas welcome. Thanks

[SF8008] problem with kodi

hi,i have problem I have been using image with no problems,i have been using kodi 18.6 and it worked fine for a long time I noticed there was a software update for my box it was a rather large one but I decided to go ahead,after it rebooted I noticed it had changed the kodi version to 18.7 and now kodi takes ages to load and sits for ages doing nothing and wont load plugins properly,i got fed up and re flashed box with a older image and also done factory reset but nothing has changed I must admit everything else works fine its just kodi thank you teknokat

Got the stalker plugin set up with a sub.
All looks good , the only problem is it wont record any iptv.
The record icon flashes but nothing is stored.
Any suggestions

Zgemma H9 combo slow motion issue on some channels, kodi not playing videos

hi

i am new to this forum and i've just received my Zgemma H9 Combo ordered from World of Satellite. Since i ve got the box (loaded with OpenATV 6.4) i am learning to use it day by day but i have encountered some issues that i don t know how to solve and, if they are because of the box or the software:

1. i have inserted my official CAM Irdeto from DigiTV DVB-C subscription that is opening all my channels but some channels have the image in slow motion all the time (not only when you change the channel ). for now i discovered the following to have this issue: AXN HD, Eurosport 4K and i also have some channels from the satellite (FTA) doing the same think, one example is Hotbird 4K1 channel on Hotbird 13 East. The signal on the DVB-C is 91% and on the satellite is around 47%. With the cable directly connected to my Sony Bravia TV (with the CAM inserted) the is no slow motion .


2. i have installed Kodi and added the videos from my SMB server (locally , no password) the library was loaded with all the movies but when i try to play one, screen goes black and the movie never starts.


I already have few days looking for a solution on these and could not find until now. Any help or advice would be appreciated
