Flashed to latest Vix image now cant ftp to box
Hi guys, been a while for me on here. I've flashed my box to the latest vix image and when I try to connect to my box via flash fxp like I always do, using saved settings. Flash fxp is now saying password is hidden.
Like I say these are saved settings and I usually click through the password (blank) and it connects straight away. Now wont connect...

VU+ Duo 4K CPU vs Duo 4K SE - Is less speed more?
Hi,
I've noticed that the new VU+ Duo 4K SE has a Quad Core 1.5GHz processor at its core.
The older Duo 4K had a 2.1GHz (I think) Quad Core installed. Although the newer model has 3GB RAM (1GB more than its predecessor) this seems to be a downgrade.
Does anyone know if there are other improvements with the CPU that have lead to VU's decision to lower the clock speed? I'd imagine this CPU to be a newer generation, maybe power consumption saving?
Any guidance would be great.

[VU+ Ultimo] Why is the EPG Synopsis on Radio Times Different Than on CrossEPG?

I was wondering why both the Sky box EPG and the CrossEPG (Sky UK OpenTV (Astra2 on 28.2) don't show the episode name of "Mountain Stream" in the synopsis yet the Radio Times website does? What EPG is Radio Times using and is there any way to use that on my VU+ box? Bit annoying having to check the radio times website everyday to find out the episode names which I need to do to find out the real episode number since BBC Four doesn't use the correct episode numbers. Thanks

Evening all, here in Australia the Public Broadcasters' (ABC/ SBS) are now in clear on Optus D1 and I have a Satellite finder (SK-9000B) which locks them all in perfectly on a single frequency LNB.
My DUO2 only scans to 45MSym and these services are 47,300MSym, 16APSK, Multistream.
Can the DUO2 resolve this service?

managed to get an Inverto ISKY-UST110-CUO10-32P and am wondering if I can use it with my Gigablue UHD UE 4k I have it connected between a Triax quattro LNB and triax Multi-switch TMS 532. I can use Tuner A and B connected either to the Unicable port on the Inverto direct or via the Triax multi-switch also other TV's work with satellite feeds from the multi-switch too. How can I configure my Gigablue to take advantage of this or is it not possible?

miraclebox solid blue standby light?
hi guys
i have a friends miracle box premium micro hd hybrid which has been playing up recently.
i took it to investigate with a view to re-flashing it etc.
it now appears upon powering up that the blue standby light on the front comes on solid and it is unresponsive to the flashing procedure.
it is about 3 years old so i am thinking has it given up the ghost or is there any revival strategy lol?
any help appreciated.

[ViX_Misc] Coloured dots on info bar
On some channels BBC1, BBC2 and others there are four coloured dots (red.green, yellow & blue) on the info bar. What do they mean? Openvix 5.4.003 simple ten eighty skin.
