I set a repeat timer to record the news everyday. It's 2 hours long become sometimes the news is on at different times. I call the timer "News". But sometimes the recording uses the programme name of whatever was on at that time. How can I force it to always name the recording as "News"?

Hey, tried flashing using usual method , got correct PurE2 6.5 loaded onto usb, put in back slot, powerup and hold front button behind flap, display goes to flash- usb, back to boot in the blink of an eye, then just boots openvix 5.39 as before. So I must be doing something wrong? Basically, I'm trying to flash a spare slot (currently slot 2 has openvix 5.39 of the 4 available) with PurE2 after reading the enormous benefits. Any help appreciated as I've given up in case I crash something as otherwise box is running perfectly!

Hi my iptv provider requires me to have mac address like a mag box, does not support xtreame code I.D or m3u. Is there any work around?

I am juggling a new dilemna, I have in my receiver a dual sat tuner with A connected to a motorised dish and b fixed to 28 east, this week I am adding a second dual tuner which I was going to set up for the looped through option as I only have one more feed to the fixed 28 east free. I understand this loop through thing normally allows you to record on the same polarity v or h, in my case is there a way I can either set up things or will it be possible automatically for the tuners to utitlise the number of tuners to to achieve best performance from tuners b to d with minimal use of tuner a to avoid moving the dish as much as possoble, many thanks for the advise in advance, thanks.

Good evening all. My H7S does not receive Channel 4 HD. It is absent in the EPG. I am aware it isn't available on Freesat receivers, but it remains a free to air channel on the satellite? Is there a simple way to manually tune my H7S to receive Channel 4 HD please?

I have recently bought a ZGemma H9 Twin to replace my aging Xtrend ET9200.

Whilst I am very pleased with the box, I am a bit of a tinkerer. What is the point of having a box if you cannot break it and then fix it? :D (With the help of the Forum obviously!)

I used a control centre for the 9200 called ET Control Centre for FTPing files, Telneting etc.

Is there anything similar for the H9 Twin?

I use latest Openvix 5 3 039 with e-channelizer. I assign iptv epg and transfer it to the box. then I started epgimporter and downloaded epg sources. When epgimport finishes downloading epg is not visible in channels list.
I also tried this with another image and everything works fine except with the openvix image.

I've searched high and low for where to buy a new VU+ Duo 4K box from - I've heard they're end of life now and no longer being produced. I don't really want to purchase the Ultimo box due to cost, and I don't know when their replacement SE box for this model will be released.

Any help finding a supplier or on the new boxes release date would be good.

Having an issue with setting up my NAS drive as a mount. Using 5.3.039 on Vu Uno4KSE. it used to work as a mount very well and then stopped working all of a sudden and now I cant set it back up. Using network browser finds the NAS. When I click on the NAS drive found, it asks if I want to enter username and password which I select as its required. It then crashes...(Log attached). Ive tried using a fresh install of Openvix and an older restore from a few months back but it still doesnt work. Ive also tried manually putting in the NAS details, which it finds but when I click through to it using PVR and yellow button, it doesnt find the AutoFS directory. Ive also got another VU receiver that has a mount to the NAS and this is still working. Any suggestions?

I got a used HD51 which currently has OpenATV installed and is working fine. But want to move it to OpenViX. I've tried several different USB sticks, formatted to FAT32 on both a Mac and a PC, but no joy. When I power up and hold in the button I very briefly see 'flash...' appear then it reports 'no partitions' and goes no further. There is a formatted HD fitted and I've tried with it connected and disconnected. Should I perhaps try reflashing with the recovery version, or is there something I am missing or doing wrong?

Did you installed Openelec/Libelec on Wetek Play 2?

And what enigma 2 image did you also installed on Wetek Play 2 that works with the sounds?

I've recently purchased a third dual T2 terrestrial tuner from WoS for the Vu+ Ultimo4K.

The first attachment shows the tuner config before adding the additional BCM3466 tuner. Everything works ok.

The second attachment shows a working config. Tuner F has to be disabled.

The third attachment shows what happens when tuner F is enabled. Tuner B becomes DVB-C, (as does tuner F) but the modes remain DVB-T2. Tuner B no longer works.

The fourth attachment shows what happens when tuner F is configured as DVB-C, mode: DVB-C. Tuner B starts working again.

There's also a debug log (ABM "start scan" is an easy way to get tuner B to fail) and a dmesg.

I'm sure there must be some telnet commands to provide the nitty gritty details.

Maybe I should also add that the BCM3466 tuner started life as DVB-T2 only, and was only turned into dual at a later date.

I configured Inadyn; it seems that everything is working....when I use the GUI I can manually start the service and my IP is updated correctly.
But, even tough autostart is activated through GUI, when the system restarts, It does not automatically update my IP. In the log, it is indicated "IP address need to be updated to XXX.XXX....".

Want to watch Le Mans 24 on France 3 Astra 1N today.
Have scanned on Legacy LNB and have 1700 odd services in last scanned EPG in number order starting at 3000.
Bow do I get in alphabetical order so I can just find F3 quickly?? Can't find a display option for numerical or alpha??
I don't need EPGs etc, just F3 today and tomorrow.

but ive lost a lot of channels i had 117 TV its now down to 96 TV north west terrestrial i seem to loose the same channels when there is a re-tune available

If the HD51 is in standby, and no recordings are in progress, do the two DVB-S2 tuners fitted link together or pass-through the RF from the input connectors to the output connectors? In other words can I daisy chain and continue to use a second receiver connected to the two tuner outputs when the Mutant is asleep?

Also thanks for helping with my image flashing problem fron USB. Corrected by using a major version upgrade download which had the all-important disk.img file included.
